Hey there! I'm Sami, and I run a cosy home salon where I specialise in Builder in a Bottle, hard gel, and gel nails. It's just you and me during your appointment – no rushing about or feeling like you're on a salon conveyor belt.

I'm properly obsessed with creating the perfect set of nails, whatever your preference. I only use vegan-friendly, UK-approved products because, well, your nails deserve the best.

Sami Pelling

Meet Sami

Hi! I'm Sami Pelling, and I've been making nails beautiful for over 11 years now. My nail journey started in Chatham, Kent, though I'm originally an Eastbourne girl. I spent some wonderful years in Barnstaple, North Devon (miss that sea air!), and now you'll find me in Saffron Walden, Essex.

Life's a bit of an adventure in our house - I'm married to an Army man, and we've got two brilliant boys who keep me on my toes. Military life means we've seen our fair share of different places, but that's just made each new location feel like another opportunity to create something special.

When I'm not transforming nails, you might catch me chatting away on the 'Banter and Beauty Bosses' podcast with my co-host, Emma Thomas. We launched in November 2024, and you can find us on Spotify and YouTube for all your beauty, nails, and completely unfiltered real talk!

I'm pretty chuffed to have achieved some lovely recognition along the way - I made finalist at The Hair & Beauty Awards in both 2023 and 2024, and landed in the Top 50 for my region at the UK Hair & Beauty Awards 2023. But what really makes me smile? Seeing someone's face light up when they look at their fresh set of nails.

Writing's become another passion of mine - I've published "The Ultimate Guide to Becoming a Master Nail Technician" on Amazon, and if you fancy something completely different, I've also written romance novels! Teaching and mentoring other nail techs has become a real passion of mine - I've run Business Mastery masterclasses for HONA, and as of May 2024, I'm part of the Nail Mafia, helping other nail professionals build their dream careers.

For me, this isn't just about nails—it's about making people feel fantastic, inside and out. Whether I'm doing your nails, sharing industry tips, recording the podcast, or writing my next story, my goal is always the same: helping people feel their absolute best.
